Enjoy a totally exclusive water experience on a French campsite at the heart of the Camping Le Château water park. The campsite has enhanced its water park with a multi-track Racer slide, the only one of its kind on a French campsite, culminating at a height of 17 meters and offering a length of 152 meters, for up to 30 seconds of intense sliding.
Designed for fun, sharing and competition, this slide lets two people race side by side down a course alternating between covered tubes and open sections. Inside, the visual effects integrated into the tubes enhance the sensations, while the open sections offer speed, light and adrenalin. Each descent becomes a highlight to be enjoyed with family and friends.
A real signature attraction, this new slide complements the existing facilities and confirms Camping Le Château as a benchmark 5-star campsite in the Vendée for lovers of water parks and thrills.

Our outdoor and indoor pools are heated to 28°C. You and your children can join the bathing area of your choice: paddling pool and two large outdoor pools, with a rectangular pool ideal for swimming laps. Whether you’re a keen swimmer or you’re looking for a cool place to enjoy the sunny days of summer, you’ll find what you’re looking for in our aquatic complex.
Our team has thought of your comfort and well-being with the indoor swimming pool, Balneo area and indoor Jacuzzi. Come and relax in the peaceful calm of our relaxation center during your stay in Vendée.
Add some dynamism to your vacation with all the attractions and activities on offer in our aquatic area. Group classes in the pool will help you wake up your muscles before you relax. Several entertainment programs are planned to keep you happy during opening hours. Our water park is open from 9.15 a.m. to 8 p.m. from May to September.

Our aquatic facilities are sure to get you in the mood for lots of fun. Let yourself be tempted by our 5 waterslides for fun slides. If you’re a thrill-seeker, take to our thrill slides, up to 17 meters high, for adrenalin-packed descents.
You can enjoy the Space Hole, Speed Ball or Racer. The Space Hole features a 12-meter-high body slide, offering 38 meters of sliding fun. The 12-meter-high Speed Ball, with its 2 spheres measuring 5 meters in diameter, is also an interesting attraction. A new addition to the water park, the multi-track Racer invites you to race two on a spectacular course culminating at a height of 17 metres, offering 152 metres of descent and up to 30 seconds of glide. Alternating covered tubes with visual effects and uncovered sections, it promises intense sensations and fun challenges to share.
Entertainers organize games for all categories of holidaymakers. The little ones will have a busy day on our water playground. Equipment for all ages is available on site, and our experienced lifeguards provide supervision for the safety of you and your children.
Access to our aquatic area is strictly regulated, and you can only have fun there on presentation of your campsite wristband. From July to August, the team organizes one evening per week to keep you entertained in a great atmosphere.
Whatever style of holiday you’re interested in, you’ll find the water sports activities to suit you just as much at our Le Château campsite as at Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. The area is ideally located on the Côte de Lumière.
