The Puy du Fou is accelerating internationally and consolidating its success in France! An explosion of grandiose shows and adventures for the whole family. The Puy du Fou is a French leisure complex with a historical theme, it includes the Cinescénie and the Grand Parc

For those who don’t know “Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou ” yet, it opened in 1989. He takes historical elements from the region surrounding the Puy du Fou and adapts them into shows, notably using trained animals (horses, birds of prey, big cats and cattle) and special and pyrotechnic effects. The park is also a place where ancestral customs are presented, with a fort from the High Middle Ages, a village from the Low Middle Ages, a village from the 18th century and a village from the beginning of the 20th century, all of which have been reconstructed and where craftsmen trained in the techniques of each period work. The park also has a horse training school and a falconry academy involved in programs to reintroduce birds of prey into their natural environment.

The Cinescenie

The Puy du Fou has been hosting the Cinescénie since 1978, a night show performed by volunteers retracing the history of the Vendée through the presentation of scenes from the daily life of a line of farmers from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.

Already more than 11 million spectators, 1,200 actors on a 23-hectare stage, 24,000 costumes, 1 hour and 40 minutes of great entertainment and many new features … the largest night show in the world has become an unmissable myth.

The Cinescénie has entered a new dimension with a light staging, 3D video projections and new sets and special effects at each performance.
