What’s new in 2026
The 2026 season promises to be full of surprises at Sun Marina… and I might as well tell you right now: the Racer waterslide at Le Château campsite is clearly going to be the talk of the town.
As we do every year, we’ve invested in improving our campsites, modernizing our facilities and offering you an ever smoother, more fun and more comfortable experience on the Côte de Lumière, between Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez.
Whether you’re a regular visitor to our campsites or planning your first stay with us, here’s everything that’s new in 2026, campsite by campsite.
A spectacular new waterslide
It’s THE big news of the year.
A new-generation waterslide makes its debut in the pool area of Le Château campsite.
– 17 metres high
– 150 metres long
– Up to 30 seconds of glide
A multi-track Racer slide for racing with family and friends.
Sensations, laughter and challenges guaranteed, from morning to night!
And for those who prefer lounging to gliding, a new relaxation area will be created with 80 additional deckchairs. Ideal for relaxing in the sun between two swims.
An even friendlier Fun Zone
In 2026, the Fun Zone at Le Château campsite will become a real living space, designed for young and old alike.
Theplayground has been moved to the heart of this lively area, so that children can fully enjoy the atmosphere while parents relax nearby. Everything has now been brought together in one place for greater simplicity and conviviality, especially in high season.
Right next door, the guinguette is also evolving. Now covered, you can enjoy entertainment, parties and shared moments, even when the weather is more capricious.
The installation of a giant screen completes the experience for events, entertainment and big sports nights.
A central, lively and welcoming space, ideal for getting together and making the most of your vacation.
Even more comfort in a VIP mobile home
Two existing VIP mobile homes, in 2- and 3-bedroom versions, are now equipped with private spas. A real wellness break for your vacations in the Vendée.
A redesigned welcome
Thecampsite’s reception area has been totally renovated to make it warmer, more fluid and more welcoming from the moment you arrive. We’ll let you discover it for yourself…
Completely renovated washrooms
The sanitary blocks have been completely renovated, with a more modern, functional and pleasant design for everyday use.
Sublime landscaped spaces
The exteriors have been embellished with palm trees, for an even more exotic ambience.
A more responsible approach
With a view to the energy transition, solar panels have been installed in the bar area.
A new Mexican-themed children’s playground
This season, children will discover a completely redesigned, colorful and immersive playground with a Mexican theme.
Some elements of the old playground have been reinstalled near the dune houses.
Even more enjoyable aquatic spaces
The environment around the pools has been newly landscaped to create a more natural, relaxing atmosphere.
Private spa and evenings at the Hacienda

A new Sun Marina application in the works
The big news coming soon is the complete overhaul of the Sun Marina application.
