Welcome to our FAQ page, dedicated to providing you with all the information you need to prepare your stay at one of our Sun Marina campsites in Vendée . Whether before your arrival or during your vacation, we’re here to answer all your questions. Find clear answers about booking, available services, sanitary measures and much more. Booking
How can I make a reservation?
You can easily book online on our website.
If you have any questions or special requests, please do not hesitate to contact our team by e-mail at info@sunmarina.com or by telephone on 02 51 54 33 87 (toll-free number).
We’ll be delighted to help you plan your vacation in the sunny Vendée region 🌞
How can I confirm a reservation?
To confirm your booking, simply pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount, plus booking fees (compulsory) and, if you wish,cancellation insurance (optional).
How do I check my reservation?
If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to contact the campsite to check that your booking has been registered.
How can I get a quote?
You can request a quote by contacting us by telephone on 02 51 54 33 87 or by email at info@sunmarina.com.
The quote does not block the reservation. As our rates are subject to change, the amount may vary depending on the date of confirmation.
Can I put an option on a reservation?
Yes, it is possible to place an option on a reservation. As our rates are subject to change, the option is valid for 7 days.
In July and August, we no longer offer options.
Are campsites VACAF-approved?
Not all Sun Marina campsites are VACAF-approved.
Can I pay for my stay with ANCV vouchers?
Yes, part of your stay can be paid for with ANCV vouchers.
However, we are not equipped to receive ANCV Connect vouchers.
I'd like to choose my location. How do I go about it?
Have you fallen in love with one of our pitches or rentals? 😍
Don’t hesitate to mention it when booking in “comments” or to contact the campsite: if availability permits, we’ll do our utmost to accommodate you, at no extra charge.
You can also consult the campsite map on our website or the Sun Marina app to find your favorite spot more easily before booking.
Is it possible to book two pitches/rentals side by side?
At Sun Marina, we’ve thought of everything so that you can share great moments with family and friends 🌞
If you wish to reserve two pitches side by sidesimply please specify when booking.
We will do our utmost to meet your request.
And for even more conviviality, discover our Tribus mobile homeswhich consist of two accommodations facing each other, with a shared terrace: the ideal way to enjoy your holiday together in comfort!
Is it possible to book for a group?

Arrivals and departures
What time can I get there?
Arrivals are from 2pm for pitches and 3pm for mobile homes.
What time should I leave?
On the day of your departure, you must return the keys to your location to reception before 10am.
For pitches camping pitches must be vacated by 11 a.m. at the latest, leaving the space clean for the next holidaymakers.
Once your rental or pitch has been vacated, you must leave the campsite.
If you wish to use the facilities in the afternoon, a supplement per person will be charged. This allows us to rotate our guests in the best possible conditions.
What should I do if I arrive outside reception opening hours?
Reception is open until 5:30pm in low season and 8:30pm in high season. If you expect to arrive outside these times, don’t worry. Just let us know on 02 51 54 33 87 and we’ll arrange a late arrival. You’ll have all the information you need to access your pitch/mobil-home.
A visit to reception the following morning will allow you to finalize your arrival, collect your wristbands and start your vacation with complete peace of mind!
Can I leave my vehicle near my pitch?
You must park your vehicle directly on your pitch for the duration of your stay, except in the premium area of La Palmeraie, which is entirely pedestrianized.
In the event of an additional vehicle, parking is possible in the private, supervised parking lot at the campsite entrance, at an additional cost of €5 per day.
For VIP and Tribu mobile homes, 2 parking spaces are included in the price.
What to do in the event of early departure
Do you have a long commute and want to leave early? No problem! Just let reception know the day before your departure.
As the gate opens at 7am, you can park your vehicle in the outside parking lot before 11pm on your last night.
Don’t forget to leave your rental keys in the letterbox in front of reception before you leave.
In the event of early departure (shortening of stay for any reason), no reimbursement will be made.
Please inform the reception team on the day of your planned departure, so that we can make the best possible arrangements.
What should I do when I leave?
If you are staying on a pitch, please leave the plot clean for future guests.
For rentals, if you have not subscribed to the housekeeping package (optional at a cost of €90 or more, to be booked prior to arrival), you will be asked to :

Clean your accommodation and terrace thoroughly,

Empty the refrigerator,

Take out the garbage cans,

Do the dishes.
Once you’ve cleaned up, lock up your accommodation and return the keys to reception.
This is also the perfect time to exchange a few words about your stay and say a fond farewell before you leave!
Rentals
How can I add options to my booking?
You can add options at the time of booking, or contact us by email at info@sunmarina.com or by phone to add them later.
Because we know that packing without forgetting anything isn’t always easy 😅 here’s an overview of the options available:

Some options must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
Bed linen and towels are included in VIP mobile homes.
Can I put a tent next to my rental property?
For safety and insurance reasons, it is forbidden to pitch a tent next to your rental property.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of 390 € is required for all rentals, in the form of abank imprint.
A pre-authorization will be made on your arrival (remember to have your physical bank card) and will be cancelled after checking the accommodation at the end of your stay.
Are the rentals equipped with air conditioning?
Only a few mobile homes are equipped with air conditioning.
If you would like one, it is important to specify this when booking.
Depending on the range chosen and availability, we will do our utmost to allocate one to you.
Are babies included in the accommodation's capacity?
Yes, babies are counted in the capacity of each accommodation, every human being counts, even the smallest 👶.

Pitches
What's the difference between a bare site and a VIP site?
Bare and VIP pitches are similar in size, between 85 and 100 m², and both have a 10 amp electrical connection and access to drinking water.
The difference lies in the level of equipment:
The VIP areas also include a equipped garden shed with fridge, microwave, barbecue, two chiliennes, clothes line, safe (at reception) and Wi-Fi code, ideal for a comfortable stay with no stress!
Practical tip 💡 : During your stay, remember to bring a CEE male adapter (European plug) for trouble-free connection.🔌
What options can I add to a site reservation?
For an even more comfortable stay on your bare pitch, you can add the optional rental of a refrigerator and/or barbecue. These options must be booked in advance, subject to availability.
Can I reserve a pitch for my tent and caravan/camper van?
Each pitch can accommodate a maximum of 6 people (including children and babies).**
An additional tent can only be set up if everything fits on the same pitch (caravan or motorhome, tent, vehicle).
On the other hand, only one caravan or motorhome is allowed per pitch.
If your car does not fit on the pitch, it must be parked in the campsite parking lot and will be counted as an additional vehicle.
**Exceptionally, at Camping Le Château, we offer a Tribu pitch (150m²) for up to 10 people, ideal for families or groups of friends.
Changing my reservation
How can I change my stay?
To request a change to your stay, please contact the campsite where you have booked.
What are the modification conditions?
For any modification of your stay, a modification fee of 20 euros will be charged.
We will do our best to modify your stay at your convenience, subject to availability.
Cancelling my reservation
How do I cancel my stay?
To cancel your stay, please contact the campsite where you have booked. However, it is necessary to have taken out cancellation insurance beforehand.
What are the cancellation conditions?
In accordance with the provisions of article L221-28 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, none of the services offered by Sun Marina are subject to the right of withdrawal. Consequently, any cancellation by the customer after booking and before departure will result in :
In the event of cancellation up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, Sun Marina will retain the deposit paid by the customer;
In the event of cancellation 29 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, the customer is obliged to pay the full price of the stay.
Animals
Are pets allowed at Sun Marina campsites?
Good news 🐾 ! At Camping Le Château, you can bring your four-legged friend to our Cani-Cottages (2-bedroom Cani Cottage or Cani Cottage 3 bedrooms), specially designed to welcome pets.
We also have the Qualidog label, a guarantee of a warm and friendly welcome for dogs: fully-equipped accommodation, dedicated areas and services designed for their comfort.
On the other hand, pets are not allowed in the rental units of the other Sun Marina campsites (Acapulco and Les Genêts)
If you are staying on a pitch, pets are accepted on all three of our campsites, at a cost of €8 per day.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not permitted.
What are the rules?
Your dog must be kept on a leash when on the campsite. A small tolerance is accepted on your pitch, as long as your dog is calm and sociable and you stay close by.
A useful reminder: remember to bring your vaccination booklet and use the doggy bags 🐶
Aquatic areas
Are swimming shorts allowed?
Yes, swimming shorts are permitted, as long as they are above the knees and no undergarments are worn (briefs, underwear, etc.).
When are the pools open?
Our pools open from early May and remain accessible throughout the season.
Are the aquatic areas heated?
Yes, our pools are heated from the moment they open.
Are the aquatic areas supervised?
Our aquatic areas are supervised from July 1 to August 31.
However, even during this period, children must be accompanied and remain under adult supervision.
Outside these dates, swimming is under the responsibility of parents or guardians.
Are buoys and inflatable games allowed?
Buoys and inflatable games are not allowed in our aquatic areas, to ensure the safety and comfort of all bathers.
Is the aquatic area open to outsiders?
Our aquatic areas are reserved exclusively for our customers. Thank you for your understanding.
What are the pool opening times?
Our aquatic areas are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and until 10 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Animations
How can I find out what's on during my stay?
You can consult the entertainment program directly on the Sun Marina app, available for download on the App Store or Google Play.
The program is updated regularly to keep track of all the activities and events during your stay.
Do you have a kids' and teens' club?
Yes, we have a kids’ club and a teenagers’ club (12-17 yrs), with activities for every age group, to guarantee an unforgettable vacation!
Is there entertainment all season long?
Sun Marina offers entertainment every weekend in pre-season (May and June) and in the off-season (September).
In July and August, there are activities every day, from morning to night, except Saturday daytime.
On Saturday evenings, there is still entertainment to get your stay off to a good start 🎉🌞
From what age are children looked after by the activity leaders?
The minimum age varies according to our campsites:

From age 4 at Les Genêts and Acapulco
The little ones can enjoy the activities in complete safety with our teams of qualified entertainers.
Miscellaneous
When are our campsites open?
Our campsites are open from May 1 to September 15.
How do washing machines work?
Washing machines and dryers are token-operated and can be purchased from reception. A token for a washing machine or tumble dryer costs €5.
You can buy washing powder in pods at the campsite reception if you need it.
Laundries are located in the campsite toilet blocks.
Do you offer bike hire?
We offer bike hire throughout the campsite opening period from April to September. For more information on rates and availability, please visit the campsite reception desk.🚲
Is Wi-Fi free?
Wi-Fi is available on all our campsites. When you book a mobile home, we give you a code for 1 device. Additional connections can be purchased at reception.
For VIP accommodations, you will receive 2 Wi-Fi codes on arrival.
